Tixel® and How It Works
Tixel® is a revolutionary non-invasive treatment that can naturally enhance moisture levels and restore
hydration to your eyes using Thermal-Mechanical Action technology (TMA®).
TMA® is a technology developed by Novoxel®. It uniquely combines motion and heat applied
using a medical-grade titanium tip. This proprietary non-laser, fractional technology, transfers thermal
energy to the skin quickly and safely - energy is emitted through a matrix of tiny pyramid-shaped
pins made of biocompatible materials covering a treatment area of 0.3cm2. This method corrects dry eyes by increasing
lubrication and reducing tear evaporation. Four treatments are required with 2-week intervals.
